It has been pretty wild and intense lately ! I have had all my 7 nieces and nephews staying over easter getting a feel for whether or not moving in here may work. Unfortunately during this time my 2 yr old nephew got hold of some insect repellent and decided to pour this over our scaly breasted lorikeet 'Lovey'. I washed, nurtured, prayed and worked with Lovey over the next few days and he seemed to be perking up and healing ~ we were so excited and comitted to 'Lovey' being on our journey that when he died (13/4) after 4 days of the incident, we were devasted and not prepared.
I eventually gathered the reasoning side after releasing the angry and victimised side and felt into the purpsoe of why I got Lovey in the first place. He was a brilliant, vibrant green lori that energised green healing light for me and the girls as a family after Grant decided to leave us. Summer-Rain was just 6mths old, so both Lovey and Summer grew an amazing connection and use to play together all the time.
It has just about taken this amount of time for us to heal as a family and taking on this journey has been the true essence of letting go what has not worked in the past, including a family with a father and husband. I can only find the trust in believing Lovey felt he had served his purpose and remain truly gratfeul for the rest of my life for his time and incredible energy he gave to us and so many other people, he was an amazing bird.
We held a burial ceremony for him on my fathers' property 'peaceful valley' of which he has only just moved back onto after a 4 yr absence of running a cafe, along with Summer-Rains placenta that had been kept for the last 2 years and a rose bush Genaveve and I found with it's tag name saying 'Peace'. With this I know Lovey will always be with us in spirit and is in a beautiful resting, home base place X RIP beautiful 'Lovey' ~ you will never be forgotten, only remebered for all that you have done and will continue to do for us forever X
